Primarily involved in legal matters relating to civil and commercial dispute resolution, intellectual property, corporate governance and family law, including both contentious and non-contentious matters. Responsibilities include assisting with legal document drafting, case preparation, legal research and other case-related work.
In the area of intended guardianship and adult guardianship, involved in the design and development of related legal service programs, as well as legal document drafting, client consultations and public legal education. Particular attention is given to practical issues arising when individuals experience a decline in decision-making capacity, including healthcare, care arrangements and asset management, as well as the interplay between intended guardianship and family law matters such as succession.
